Well friends – we should all have plenty of things to talk about in the days ahead… as the following events (all 18 of them) and others draw us all together. Beginning on Nov. 8 and running on through the 20th, some of these will gather very specialized and targeted audiences, while others are open for everyone. And very soon, Americans everywhere will celebrate Veterans Day, honoring those who served in the U.S. Armed Forces… on the anniversary of the historic moments on Nov. 11, 1918, when the hostilities of World War I wound to their bitter end.

In the hours to come, may we all join forces and give each other – and the world at large – much to celebrate. Read more

Mark your calendar: Very cool events coming to the USA, Italy, Germany, UK and Canada

Keeping tabs on events that are valuable and inspirational to professionals like us – and sharing key details on a timely basis – continues to be a very busy job. Back at the beginning of June, it felt like the period dead ahead was the busiest time of the year for events… but after organizing this new 12x Learning Optimizer edition featuring 18 fascinating happenings spread across North America and Europe over the days ahead, I stand corrected. Please look for executives from specialized creative agency (and DWA client) Leviathan at the SEGD XLab workshops during New York Digital Signage Week, and for anyone attending the Adobe Max festivities in San Diego, consider signing up for the Studio Walking Tour (http://bit.ly/2es17FH) on Nov. 1, and if you do, please say hi to my friends (and clients) at brand strategy and digital design agency BASIC. Mark your calendar: High-profile events coming to the USA, Canada and Europe

From the poem “September” by Helen Hunt Jackson (1831-1885): “By all these lovely tokens September days are here, with summer’s best of weather, and Autumn’s best of cheer.”

I hope the loveliness of the season is reaching you and inspiring your own good cheer. As I write this, the following events are right around the corner – some involving my clients (the illustrious Erin Sarofsky is now visiting Paris for the very first time, preparing to present at Motion Plus Design), and some pulling hard on my own aspirations to get out, see and experience new things, and make new friends. Perhaps something here will inspire you, too; Read more
