Posted by Roger Darnell · Leave a Comment
Really, when I survey the landscape of marketing, science, technology and entertainment, many interesting developments grab my attention — and yet, I am particularly fascinated with online community building, management and the ways that these virtual outposts are being marketed — and offering new marketing opportunities to others. I honestly feel that understanding online communities, and strategically managing involvement therein, will be key to business success in the not-too-distant future.

Corante.com is a reliable source of information on technology, business, law, science, and culture which is authored by leading commentators and thinkers in their respective fields, and earlier this year they launched a new blog entitled The Future of Communities. Contributors to the group blog are posting thought-provoking new pieces every day, and the current focus is on live blogging from Corante’s Community 2.0 Conference, which wraps up today in Las Vegas.
