| Shilo is an Emmy Award-winning
creative production company representing a group of filmmakers led by directors
Jose Gomez and Andre Stringer. Internationally known for creating
provocative, design-infused original film and HD video content, Shilo's
artists in New York and La Jolla, California, produce spellbinding short
films, music videos and commercials for leading advertising agencies and
brands. Shilo also published its own book in 2007 ("We Make It Good")
and curates the popular website WeMakeItGood.com.
Challenge
On a continual basis since
April, 2008, plan, design, develop and execute a strategic, cost-effective
public and media relations campaign to support Shilo's greatest project
and business achievements, while also extending relations with key clients
and vendors.
Approach
Shilo's operations on both
U.S. coasts benefit from excellent leadership, deeply talented principals
and a strong public identity as nice, passionate people who love what they
do. Working directly with the company's New York executive producer,
co-founder and partner and her development producer, topical news releases
are managed and distributed globally to add new chapters to Shilo's exciting
story, and extend its reputation through targeted media outlets and within
its business community. Complementing a top-flight group of representatives
serving the company in major markets across the U.S. and worldwide, the
agency maintains constant contact with Shilo's many friends in the media,
as well as other major market players, and also provides 24/7 access to
the company's latest news and background materials through a custom virtual
press office.

Results - Highights
Throughout the campaign, news of the company's project achievements
has reached around the world time and again, as one major project builds
upon another, and Shilo's self-directed cultural and musical ventures
--
the latter well known as the We Make It Good Mix Series -- continue
attracting new legions to Shilo's loyal fanbase.
In 2008, Shilo famously partnered with Ogilvy Amsterdam and MTV to produce
"Burma Viral." The project reached millions of viewers, raising
awareness of the plight of the people of Burma before and following
the devastation of 2008's Cyclone Nargis. Shilo's collaboration
on the project with Ogilvy Amsterdam was awarded the 2008 London International
Awards Gold Statue for Television/Cinema Animation, and the 2008
Silver Shark Award for Best Animation, among many noteworthy honors.

brand integrity.
