EMA Multimedia Returns to DVD Industry Headlines, Launches New Partnerships and Products, Refocuses Marketing
  • Strategic PR Campaign Designed and Executed by The Darnell Works Agency Helps EMA Multimedia Succeed
EMA Multimedia, Inc., a Century City-based full-service all-media production and design studio serving the film, TV, gaming and music industries.

Challenge
Design, develop and execute a cost-effective public relations campaign as the primary channel for supporting EMA's sales objectives, including customer relations, media relations, business development and staffing.

Approach
This brilliant and resourceful small company invested into a public relations campaign in early 2001 to get its name back into DVD industry trade media -- and to help address specific sales and marketing initiatives. The campaign launched to support the company’s formation of a partnership with an innovative New York-based interactive shop, KMGI Studios... and continued with the launch of a new communications technology product from EMA: DTC: Digital Trading Cards.  Custom press kits, CD-EPKs and Web-EPKs were created and distributed incorporating a custom backgrounder, bio materials, high-res digital media versions of the company’s reel and project imagery. Support for high-priority projects continued for a full year, promoting the company’s work on top DVD menu design projects and production/design projects for Maverick Records/Tony Hawk and other design projects. Also provided active consulting to address specific issues, developments and opportunities: advised on sales and marketing activities, trade event participation, awards submissions, sales plan development and targeted business development opportunities.
