For Immediate Release ATTIK LAUNCHES ITS FIRST CROSS-MEDIA CAMPAIGN FOR EXPRESSJET AIRLINES SAN FRANCISCO and HOUSTON – Oct. 10, 2007 – Global creative agency ATTIK today announced the launch of its first cross-media campaign for ExpressJet Airlines. Yesterday, the campaign’s first elements appeared in regional newspapers and magazines – and on selected radio stations – within the 26 cities in the West, Central and Southeast regions of the United States serviced by ExpressJet Airlines. According to Ron Lim, ATTIK’s creative director on the account, the campaign targets travelers seeking more convenient travel options in the ExpressJet cities. “While the big airlines often make these individuals change planes in busy, high-traffic hubs, ExpressJet is now offering them non-stop flights to many popular destinations,” he said. “Using a playful, humorous tone, we hit that message hard, and also featured all the amenities that show travelers that ExpressJet is a different kind of airline.” The campaign’s first print ads feature the tagline “Get over stopovers,” and the radio spots entitled “Magician” and “Race Car Driver” focus on the same theme by featuring colorful characters facing unique travel predicaments. Beginning next week, campaign billboards will debut near ExpressJet airports, and interactive campaign executions will begin appearing on targeted online destinations. Within some cities, guerilla activities will also kick-off next week, offering ExpressJet branded milk and cookies to people in office parks and high-traffic business areas. “Time, convenience and comfort are what we offer travelers today,” said Trish Winebrenner, Vice President Marketing. “Non-stop service gives our customers more time, and non-congested airports and 50-seat jets offer easy in-and-out convenience. Our product offering of free XM radio, complimentary snack options, and best of all no middle seats, gives our customers the comfort they deserve. These are the core messages that will be delivered throughout this campaign.” Other unique campaign placements and guerilla activities will follow next month. Along with Ron Lim, ATTIK’s San Francisco-based account team also includes executive creative director Simon Needham, design director Paul Miller, senior strategist Matt Roblee and account director Onita Mihaly.
